One of my favorite things at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo was feeding the giraffes. They had long tongues and they would lick you to get the lettuce. It was so much fun the first time, I got more lettuce to do it again. I got to feed a baby giraffe too. He had a small tongue, so it was easier to feed him without getting slobbered.
