Dinner Review: Savelli's Pizza

We were pretty hungry after touring Garden of the Gods.  I pulled out my iPhone and used the TripAdvisor app to find a place to eat near Manitou Springs.  High on the list was Savelli's Pizza.

Being from New Jersey, I've got high standards for pizza.  It was a risk getting pizza in Colorado, for sure. And while it wasn't as good as pizza from my hometown, it was very good.  We ordered two medium pizzas:  sausage for Ruth and I, and meat lovers for Jeff and Henry.  Both were delicious.

We all ordered side salads to add some vegetables to our diets for the day.  They must need to get rid of olives, because in Ruth's estimation, there were at least 70 black olives on my salad.  Same for all of us.  Only Jeff likes olives, so Henry, Ruth and tried to get as many out of our salads as we could.

We had about six slices left over, and they'll make a good late night snack or breakfast.
