Rudy's Barbecue

When I lived in San Antonio, Texas, I went to a barbecue place called Rudy's that was really good.  It looks like they're branching out, because we found one in Colorado Springs.  It's on Route 24 on the way to Manitou Springs.

We stopped there for dinner after our train ride.  The line was out the door, but we stuck with it.  Fortunately, the line moved pretty quickly.

At Rudy's, you go up and order your food, they give it to you at the counter and you take it to your seats.

I got the smoked prime rib, and Jeff and the kids got pulled pork.  Jeff got creamed corn and cole slaw for sides. I got corn on the cob and new potatoes, and Ruth had corn too.

It was fantastic.  The prime rib was out of this world and Jeff said the same of the creamed corn.  What a treat to find this place in Colorado Springs.
