Rocks from Chimney Rock

The museum had these pieces of rock, donated by a local Nebraska man who found them near Chimney Rock. It's plausible that rocks could fall off of the upper layers of Chimney Rock due to erosion. You can faintly see a name and year carved into the rock.  Since it's sandstone, it was fairly easy to carve with a knife.
