Lynn's Favorite Things

We spent a great deal of time talking about our favorite things from the trip, and we don't all agree.  Here's my favorites:

Favorite National Parks/Monuments
1. Arches National Park - on the first pass through, I was awestruck by it.
2. Monument Valley - it's simply stunning; a place I'll never forget.
3. Rocky Mountain National Park - breathtaking views and snow!
4. Canyonlands National Park - great views from the Colorado River.
5. Bryce Canyon National Park - loved the night astronomy program
6. Colorado National Monument - interesting rock formations.

Favorite Restaurants
1. Terry's Turf Club, Cincinnati, OH
2. Jack Stack Barbecue, Kansas City, MO
3. Shapiro's Deli, Indianapolis
4. Breckenridge Brew Pub, Denver, CO
5. Blue Moon Bar and Grill, Grand Junction, CO
6. The Ale House, Grand Junction, CO
7. The Bent Fork Grill , Aurora, CO
8. Savelli's Pizza, Manitou Springs, CO

Favorite Foods/Drinks
1. Burger with white cheddar cheese and caramelized onions and fries at Terry's Turf Club.  Phenomenal!
2. Rudy's BBQ smoked prime rib in Colorado Springs
3. Jeff's creamy chicken enchiladas at Leon's Taqueria. I only had one bite, but it was fabulous.
4. Pastrami from Shapiro's Deli in Indianapolis
5. Fish tacos in Estes Park
6. Summerbright Ale from the Breckenridge Brewery
7. Ice cream at Golden Sweets in Golden, CO.
